God has a plan to bless the world, and invites us to be a part of it

New Creation Member's Blog This first "blog" post is posted by the webmaster on Pastor Anne's behalf

God’s speaking: Right here. Right now. That’s the radically simple assumption at the heart of our Fall Bible study.

Expect change: Things are going to happen. The Spirit’s at work. You’ll never be the same. That’s the expectation for this Bible study. Because when you engage God’s Word, things change – for you, for our congregation, for the world we are part of.

God is on a mission: As you read the Bible with your small group, you’ll see that God has a plan. From the very beginning, God’s been on a mission to reconcile and bless God’s creation. We’re partners in this mission. God’s got work for us to do – work that gives meaning and purpose to our lives.
Jesus is at the heart of God’s mission, and the center of this study. During this 7 week journey we will discover:

Week 1: God is on a mission
Week 2: We have been created to be God’s partners in this mission
Week 3: God has a plan to bless the world.
Week 4: God’s plan is carried out by ordinary people.
Week 5: Sometimes God has to carry out the plan in spite of us.
Week 6: This partnership really is for better or worse.
Week 7: Being in partnership with God is to be in partnership with one another.

Begins September 18, mark your calendars now for 7 weeks of basic training.

As we move into our mission to invite, nurture, serve, and send (INSS) we will discover more about becoming Christ’s ambassadors of Christ’s reconciling love and forgiveness.
