Posted by: jcarlson on Thursday, July 13, 2006 - 07:04 PM
Church News Dear Pastor Anne and People of New Creation,

I want to thank you so much for the generous gift you recently sent me. I am overwhelmed! I miss my old guitar but this really helps offset the cost of the new one. Thanks!

THANK YOU
Posted by: jcarlson on Saturday, May 06, 2006 - 01:08 AM
Church News It seemed appropriate to open my thanks to all those who made Lent and Easter so special with the Greek word for thanks as well as the word we use for “communion.” Eucharisto means “good gifts”. You all have shared all of your good gifts this season, and always.

Please RSVP to me (Linda D.) and also let me know what you would like to bring for the potluck (if you are able). So far as I remember we have a brunch casserole and a couple of salads. We'll need main & side dishes, bread/pastries & beverages.

Church News Dear Sister and Brothers in Christ:

The 9th Biennial Churchwide Assembly of the ELCA is now history. The decisions affirmed by over one thousand voting members meeting in Orlando will be a part of our work and responsibility into the future.

If you haven’t already done so, please go to the ELCA website for news reports on Assembly actions. (There is a link on our website to the ELCA website. Or you can go to directly to the ELCA website at www.elca.org. ) Printed materials on Churchwide Assembly actions will be sent soon and a future issue of The Lutheran magazine will feature an Assembly report.
