About: Vision & Mission

...therefore when you are in Christ, you are a new creation; the old has
gone, and the new is here and now! all this is from God, who has given us
the ministry of reconciliation. God is entrusting the message of
reconciliation to us, so we are ambassadors for Christ. II Cor. 5:17-20

Values |
- New Creation values St. Paul’s assignment of offering
reconciliation, hope, and healing.

Reconciliation: So then, there are no longer strangers
and aliens, but we are all citizens with the saints, and members of
the household of God. Eph. 2: 19
-
Hope: Blessed be the God of our Lord Jesus Christ! By
God’s great mercy we were given a new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I Peter
1:3
-
Healing: And Peter took the crippled man by the right
hand and raised him up; and immediately his feet and ankles were
made strong. Jumping up, he stood and began walking and leaping and
praising God. Acts 2: 7&8.
- St Paul tells us that God was reconciling us to God’s self
through Jesus Christ. In this reconciliation, God does not
count or remember our sins, our debts, our trespasses against us,
and instead gives us the ministry of reconciliation.
In fact Paul calls us ambassadors with a royal message of
unconditional love and forgiveness – of hope and healing – for all
people.
- We also value prayer as we put it first in our lives and
ministries. Prayer is the vehicle in which we carry the message of
reconciliation.

VISION |

Because God has given
New Creation Lutheran community the commission to be ambassadors of
reconciliation, we take to the streets of our neighborhood and
community to be agents of reconciliation offering hope and healing.
We see a time when
our neighbors will recognize us as a people of reconciliation, hope,
and healing.
I looked, and there in the heaven a
door stood open! And a voice speaking to me said: ‘Come up here,
and I will show you what must take place… Rev. 4:1

We accomplish these
values through::
serving the
community and neighborhood around us with the reconciling love of
God.
inviting and
welcoming anyone just they way they are and who they are to
experience God's reconciling love.
nurturing the
hunger you have within you by bringing Jesus' table out into the
marketplace, the streets of our neighborhoods.
sending
missionaries and ambassadors for Christ back out into the community
to serve.
This is the time of
the worlds colliding
